Social Media
When you become a member of Wildlife SEQ you become part of a united group that is striving for the same goal, saving and protecting our wildlife. Bringing awareness to the community through education plays an integral part of this organisation. This is done by using many platforms; one being social media. In today’s world, social media (Facebook), is the primary way people receive information.
Wildlife SEQ has two Facebook pages. A public community page where anyone can follow us and like our page. Our other page is for members only. All members of Wildlife SEQ are encouraged to like and join both pages. The community page will provide a range of stories and information that both members and the public can enjoy and learn from. The members-only page is a great resource where active members can ask questions, ask for assistance or advice or create an event. We encourage all members to participate and join in on discussions. Social Events & Meetups
Even though you have all joined up to assist our wildlife, we also want to provide an environment where you can meet new people and make new friends. Wildlife SEQ will arrange various social events that members can attend. Whether it’s a sewing bee or a dinner, Wildlife SEQ will arrange some fun activities for people to come along to get to know fellow carers. These will be posted up on our Members Only Facebook page along with an Events Calendar on the website so stay tuned!
